Feeling Good in Your Own Skin

Hello fashion and beauty lovers!

I was recently browsing through one of my favorite websites, http://www.elleandblair.com/, when I saw a post about skin care. Many girls have trouble dealing with their skin when they are either entering puberty or going through it. I have this problem myself at times and have to deal with pimples and blackheads. Over the years I have found a few must have products that will clear your skin and make you feel confident in it!

This Clinique facial mask is an excellent product to use when trying to clear up your skin. You attain immediate results and truly notice a difference in your skin. The application process is described in the package. This product currently retails for about $20 at your local Clinique counter.
Clean & Clear is a brand that is dedicated all to feeling good in your own skin. They have come up with a product called the Acne Spot Treatment (shown left) that will leave your face acne free. I like using this daily on areas that can be more prone to acne on my face. This product helps not only stop existing acne problems, but also prevent future ones. This product currently retails for $6.99 at cleanandclear.com.

Clearing up your skin is just as important as owning the latest pair of cute wedges. Whatever treatment you find that can work for your skin should surely be one that you would want to look into. Consult your dermatologist before starting a new acne treatment just to make sure that you are doing what is best for your skin.

Have a happy and healthy day!

Viva La Perfume!

Hello perfume lovers!

Not too long ago I went shopping with some friends when I stumbled upon the Viva La Juicy perfume at a Juicy Couture counter. This perfume usually retails for about $87 at it's full size (3.4 OZ). This perfume had a delicious scent of fruits and flowers all mixed together to form a very classic eu de perfume. The website would describe this fragrance as: With top notes of wild berries and juicy mandarin gently tempered with honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine. Underlying it all are warm tones of amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, and praline. In my opinion, the description really suits the perfume and is a must-have for any young lady! I will surely pick up this perfume next time I go to the mall and hope that many of you do as well. You can pick up this perfume online or at any Juicy Couture store. They are also available at department stores and your local Sephora or Ulta.

Wonder Woman!

Hello to all you beauty lovers!

Yesterday I went...SHOPPING! Of course I had to stop by the Mac counter and pick out at least one item of my choice. The Wonder Woman collection came out a while back but my counter still had a single pigment left from the collection! I knew I needed to purchase it, so now, I am the proud owner of a pigment in Bright Fuchsia! If you are not familiar with this pigment, click here for more details.

As soon as I got home, I took my 213 Fluff Brush and tried on this new product. Once you take off the red lid, there is a small and very thin plastic lid sitting just over the pigment so it won't fly off. After carefully removing the plastic, I gently pat my brush on the product and tap off any excess. Once the brush is ready, I swipe it across my lid and just below my crease. This is an extremely pigmented product (duh! it's a pigment!) and leaves shocking color on your eyelid. I loved the effect and will surely be wearing this color for my next party!

If you have any questions about the pigment or would like me to post pictures of the look, please feel free to ask!

Have a happy and healthy day!

Dianna Agron: Fashion Inspiration!

We all have that one celebrity which we look up to fashion wise. For me, that person is Dianna Agron. Every look that she sports is extremely chic, yet modern at the same time. I stumbled across this photo recently and loved Dianna's outfit here! It's so simple, comfy and glam all at the same time!

You can attain the same look at a great price if you want to impress all your friends! You can get these Wet Seal boots for less than $20! This Forever 21 loose graphic shirt is very similar to Dianna's. Black skinny jeans and a leopard-print scarf are the next must-haves in order to attain this look. Sunglasses and handbags are staple pieces in anyone's closet, and here Dianna makes them key items in her look. The two options mentioned above are great and affordable! A cardigan like Dianna's is hard to find, but Urban Outfitters has a great similar option here.

Whether you're going to the mall with your friends, or chilling on a Saturday night with your boyfriend, this look gives off a casual but very put-together look that will make you shine!

Elegant at your own price!

Hello fashion lovers!

I was browsing through Vogue.it, Vogue Italia's website and the fashion world's central hub, and stumbled upon an interesting quote.
"Elegant is not what you wear, and its not about how you wear it, but its more about who you are."
-Alber Elbaz

Now the reason that I found this quote remarkable is because it makes total sense! You don't have to dress head-to-toe in Dior in order to look like you're worth a million bucks! So, this year, instead of wearing this Zac Posen jacket which can cost up to $1500, try out this Forever21 alternative that is only $27.80!

So summarizing this post, style is not the most expensive item on the runway (which can still be fabulous if you can afford it!), but it is the staple pieces in your wardrobe that can transform any outfit! Whether you shop at Saks or a thrift store, your wardrobe can always, and will always be elegant!

Have a happy and healthy day!
